Sibyls."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From May 16 to November 15, 2026, the \u2018Crypt\u2019 of the Siena Cathedral Complex will host SYBILS, a photographic exhibition curated by Bill Armstrong.<\/p>\n<p>Sponsored by the Opera della Metropolitana di Siena and the Archdiocese of Siena-Colle di Val d&#8217;Elsa-Montalcino, and organized by Opera Laboratori, the American artist&#8217;s exhibition reinterprets one of the absolute masterpieces of Italian artistic heritage\u2014the Siena Cathedral Floor\u2014transforming it into a radically new visual experience. The project, which establishes a dialogue between one of the most celebrated decorative cycles of the Italian Renaissance and contemporary photographic research, continues the artist&#8217;s work: the Sibyls are presented as images in transit, pervaded by a tension between revelation and loss.
